MERA announced to have successfully confirmed its Quality Management System compliance with ISO 9001:2008 and TL 9000-V R5.5/R5.0 Standard Requirements. The assessment was performed by BSI Group Lead Auditors and took the form of surveillance visit. Therefore, the audit mainly focused on the Quality Management System improvements and included a selective inspection of other system elements.

According to the certification body, the following strong points were revealed in the course of the audit: dedicated quality team and commitment, internal audit mechanism, good awareness and timely submission of measurement data. Following the audit, MERA identified the areas for development and compiled a list of possible process improvements in both operating and service departments.

«MERA obtained its first ISO9001 Certificate in 2001 and achieved TL9000, the international standard for Telecommunication industry, in 2006. Since then, we have been striving to regularly pass the recertification audit as for the majority of our international customers it guarantees the credibility and professional competence of the vendor," says Alexei Pavlovsky, Quality Director at MERA.
