Foreign investors interested in Russian AI

International investors have given the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) $2bn for investing in Russian companies that develop artificial intelligence solutions, Firrma.ru reported.

According to RDIF documents, the government-owned fund has raised the amount from partners representing large sovereign funds and global corporations based in the Middle East and Asia. Co-investors from the United Arab Emirates were mentioned among others.
