Moscow government experiments AI in local healthcare system

01 December 2020

Launched almost a year ago, a Moscow city experiment to use artificial intelligence and computer vision technologies in the local healthcare system has involved more than 20 solution providers offering 38 services.

The city authorities intend to involve even more providers, medical organisations and doctors, and develop new AI use cases.

The city also aims to completely replace its existing non-digital heavy equipment with digital one.

Under this experiment, Moscow’s healthcare providers have used artificial intelligence to analyze computer tomography, X-ray diagnostics, mammography, fluorography and other radiodiagnostics for pneumonia, lung cancer, breast cancer, Covid-19, etc.
