Russians find it appealing to live in mobile apps

In 2Q 2020, the Russians spent 15% more time in mobile apps, compared to 4Q 2019, analysts at App Annie found in their recent study.

Russian users are reported to have spent 7.3 billion hours in mobile apps, ranking 5th globally in the App Annie ranking.

Across the world, time devoted to mobile apps increased 40% yoy with a one-month record of 200 billion hours in apps set in April 2020.

In 2Q 2020, users across the globe bought $27bn worth of products and services through mobile apps, an absolute record. The Russian market showed impressive results, too; users left $328m in apps, up 30% from Q1 2019. Of the total, $233m went to pay for mobile games.
