New Spam-Blocking System to be Launched in Russia in Q2 2022

22 March 2022

A unified system for blocking spam calls and SMS messages can be created in Russia in the second quarter of 2022. With the help of the system, operators of the Big Four will be able to exchange information, analyze suspicious numbers to block spam calls and unwanted mailings.

Subscribers will be able to leave a complaint about ads received without their consent on the website of the Federal Antimonopoly Service or their operator. Companies that connect to the system will block the specified number within 72 hours, and the subscribers will receive a notification from their operator.

Beeline plans to launch the service for collecting and processing feedback on June 1, if the launch process is not affected by external circumstances.
