New Test Site for 5G and 6G Technologies to be Created in Moscow Region

A test site for the testing of 5G and 6G technologies will be created in the Moscow region (Dolgoprudny).

Dmitry Livanov, Rector of the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT), says that the pilot site will be deployed on the scientific campus, and after successful testing it will be deployed throughout the city. He also notes that it is necessary to ensure a high level of service and technological independence when creating communication networks.

Earlier, it was reported that the first 5G industrial test site in Russia was opened at the Botkin Hospital in Moscow. It was planned to test healthcare technologies and services on the territory.
