The Amount of State aid to IT Companies in Moscow to be Increased Threefold

The amount of state aid for IT companies in Moscow will be tripled. IT development programs in healthcare, education, transport, public services will not be stopped or curtailed. It is expected that this will contribute to the development of all sectors of the industry.

According to Moscow’s Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, “state orders of software worth about 25 billion rubles have been placed this year”. He added that specialists intended to develop additional support measures for the industry in Moscow on the basis of proposals from experts.

Earlier it was announced that Moscow’s technology companies will get $2.44 million rubles for the testing of innovative products.
