Pilot Project of Metro Construction Based on BIM Technology Launched in Moscow

13 January 2022

A pilot project of metro construction based on a new methodology of information modeling (BIM) has begun in Moscow. It will be used at the construction site of the Krasny Stroitel depot of the future Biryulyovskaya Moscow metro.

The technology is being implemented by Mosinzhproekt specialists. A trial operation of the shared data environment is currently underway. Its integration with a computer-aided design system allows you to centrally manage information and track the progress of design work.

Another innovation is the technical document management system, which allows you to manage the processes of transfer, approval and change of project documentation at all stages of the life cycle of an object under construction.

Mosinzhproekt was the first to use BIM technology during the reconstruction of the Luzhniki stadium.
