Collaboration between Russian Universities, IIT Kharagpur, CDO Global, RISING (an initiative of Chamber for Indo-Russian technology collaboration partnership with RUSSOFT Association and (Technological Sovereignty Exports Association) to promote common academic collaboration between the two countries.

The discussion was attended by the Director of IIT Kharagpur, Prof V K Tiwari and Deans and senior professors from the institute to proliferate areas of mutual cooperation between IIT and some of the Russian institutes.

IIT Kharagpur (Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur), established in 1951, is the oldest and largest IIT in India offering world-class education and research opportunities across disciplines. It is one of the most premier institutes in the country and is recognized globally for its quality of students, talents, faculty, alumni, and research output in Science & Technology, Humanities & Social Science, and Management.

IIT has been in discussion with some of the premier Universities in Russia with an objective to develop common areas of collaboration, which are of strategic importance to both nations, such as, Energy, Healthcare, Cybersecurity, AI and Analytics, Management and leadership for the new world order, etc.
