Major integration piece for a custom-build Salesforce application completed

19 October 2018

By the end of summer, EVELOPERS delivered a new piece of a large-scale integration project for a custom-built Salesforce application used by an enormous number of salespeople all over the world employed by our customer.

Initially, the application developed and maintained by EVELOPERS used Yieldex to support the functionality of requesting forecasts (i.e., availability, capacity, etc.) for Proposal Products. As a step towards a brand new version of the application, it is required to replace the source forecasting by Google DoubleClick for Publishers (DFP) inventory system.

EVELOPERS completely re-built and re-architectured the API layer inside the Salesforce.com based application to support both forecasting systems at the same time with an ability to switch between the two inventory systems and receive both forecasts to compare results.

This release brought hundreds of new REST APIs to the platform together with massive updates to the existing API layer, which in the end resulted in a tremendous step forward to get the application to its new version before the end of this year.
