RUSSOFT Board has begun its work in a new composition

28 November 2022

On 22th November, 2022, the first meeting of the new Board of the RUSSOFT Association took place, where its chairman, Oleg Nishonov, General Director of the Techexpert Information Network, was unanimously elected.

“Despite the turbulence of the last year, RUSSOFT has grown a lot: more than 70 new members have joined the Association. The Association actively participated in the formation and implementation of import substitution measures, prepared and sent to the Ministry a draft of the “Roadmap for state support of IT exports”. The RUSSOFT team organized brilliant and useful events for the IT industry – both inside Russia and abroad (India, Malaysia, Indonesia).

Among the Association’s plans for the next year: continued interaction with government authorities, development institutions and other industry associations on import substitution, state support for IT exports and training for the IT industry. An important area of activity is also strengthening the work of RUSSOFT committees for the benefit of the entire software development industry,” notes Valentin Makarov, President of RUSSOFT.

RUSSOFT’s board traditionally includes companies from different regions representing different segments of the industry and having different technologies and business models.  Thus, the Board of the Association reflects the interests of the entire pyramid of the software development industry.

RUSSOFT Board meetings are open to all members of the Association, so all companies can join the discussion of important decisions for the industry and be aware of all the plans and actions of the Association. Such “horizontal communication” makes it possible to integrate new companies of the Association into effective collaboration.

“Radical changes in the world force us to adapt the association’s strategy for effective work in foreign markets and within the country, in cooperation with the state and with the members of the association. At the same time, we will definitely preserve the most valuable properties of our union – informal communication, mutual assistance, firmness in defending the interests of Russian software developers. The updated board is ready for this,” said Oleg Nishonov, Chairman of the Board of RUSSOFT.

The Board of RUSSOFT for the next 12 months elected:

  • Maxim Bolotov, CEO of INOSTUDIO
  • Oleg Vlasenko, Deputy CEO of SimbirSoft
  • Alexander Egorov, CEO of Reksoft
  • Roman Kletskikh, CEO of NAUMEN
  • Lev Matveev, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Serchinform

  • Alexey Smirnov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Basalt

The President of the Association, Valentin Makarov, is also ex officio a member of the RUSSOFT Board.

RUSSOFT is the most influential association of software development companies in Russia. RUSSOFT unites 304 IT companies (as of November 28th, 2022) with a staff of more than 80,000 highly qualified employees. RUSSOFT represents the entire software development industry in Russia.

RUSSOFT’s key areas of activity are promoting the interests of software development companies at the state level, facilitating participation in import substitution programs, and providing IT companies with opportunities to enter the global market.
